This week we will be looking into Tu B’Shevat where Jewish people in the UK celebrate the beginning of the new year for trees. This is the season when the earliest blooming trees in the land of Israel emerge from their winter sleep and begin a new fruit cycle. This week we will be looking at our trees in the garden and doing bark rubbings. We will be trying new fruits and discussing where they grow. As well as enjoying lots of art and crafts and each room will be able to take part in planting some seeds so we can watch them grow.
